We really enjoyed the safari park today. There were so many animals and riding through their habitat was very different from just viewing them at a zoo. It was really awesome. We are counting down the days now. Tomorrow we are going back to Shamian Island and then Saturday we head home. We have had an amazing trip, but we are ready to be back home. This trip has been double special for us because of adopting Sarah Catherine and bringing Danna Faith back to visit her birth country. We are so very thankful to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for this privilege He has given to us to take care of another one of His precious children. We have been through things over the past four and a half years that should have stopped this adoption. But the Lord had other plans, and He brought us through all of those obstacles. When I went through my cancer, I realized more than ever that I wanted my life to have made a difference in other's lives. I remember seeing this on one of the adoption websites: "When we have passed from this world, it will not matter how much we had or who we knew, but if we touched the life of a child." Sarah Catherine is named after two women who formed and touched my life by teaching me the love of Christ and the power of prayer. These women have a love for God and their family above and beyond what most can even imagine. They taught us to love the Lord above anything and to pray about everything. They will be rewarded in heaven for the mothers they have been to their children. Sarah is in honor of my precious mother, Sarah Ray, who is loved and appreciated more than she will ever know. Catherine is in memory of my precious grandmother, Catherine Sweatt. Both of these women have been used by God and have blessed many, many lives. We love you Mama & Nanny.
