Today we went to the American Consulate. We signed papers and took our oaths. This was done by raising our right hand and stating that all information we have provided is accurate and that we will never abandon our baby. There were sixty American families from adoption agencies all over the world in this room. It was pretty emotional. This is the final step in obtaining Sarah's American citizenship. Praise the Lord!!!! As soon as our airplane touches American soil she will be an American citizen. Sarah slept through the entire thing. She is such a good baby. She sleeps all night - sure hope this continues when we get home. She will probably stay on China time like Danna Faith did for a while and have her nights and days backwards. She continues to amaze us. There are things she is doing for the first time and it is so touching to see her reactions. Tomorrow morning we are going on the same safari tour that we did in 2004. Maddie really liked this when she came with us, so we know Danna Faith will also. Thursday and Friday to go - then Saturday we head home!!!! We are ready. We love and miss everyone very much.
