Today we went back to Shamian Island. We went inside the White Swan for the traditional red couch photos. This really brought back memories for us. We have a lot of pictures of Maddie and Danna Faith sitting on the red couch in front of the Pearl River from 2004. So hard to believe it has been over five years. Today, we made pictures of Danna Faith and Sarah Catherine on the same couch. We shopped again on the Island and then had a group lunch at a really good Thai restaurant. Another couple told us today that there is a Papa Johns down the street and they will deliver to the room. The other American eating places have tasted similar to back home, so we will see about the pizza. Sarah Catherine keeps us laughing. She loves to grin and giggle. She is very loving and loves to touch our faces. She is usually a ham in front of the camera. She is really precious. Tomorrow evening we will go on our Pearl River Dinner Cruise. The next day is our first appointment with the American Consulate. One more appointment after that and the adoption will be final. Woo hoo!! The end is in sight - Praise the Lord!! Four and a half rough years of waiting, but she is worth every minute. We love and miss everyone very much.
