Today was a more relaxed day for us. We met our guide at 10:00 to walk to an outdoor mall. It was an experience to say the least. I don't think I could ever get use to the split pants on the toddlers. We remember all the staring from before - but it has about blown Brady's mind. He gets a lot of stares from the girls. We must really look funny to the Chinese people. They will walk right up to you - like they want to touch you. It can be a little scary. The most staring is done at Danna Faith though. When she starts talking - and we all know how much she can talk - they will come running to listen to her. I guess if we saw an English child speaking Chinese we would all want to listen too. It doesn't bother her at all thank goodness. We are truly seeing how most people live in China on this trip. I asked Brady after our walk today if this made him realize how blessed we are in the U.S. and he said he would never have believed it if he hadn't seen. We were at the White Swan on Shamian Island the whole trip for Danna Faith. It is much more modern than Nanchang. Sarah Catherine's little personality is really starting to shine. She comes out more and more each day. She loves to smile and laugh. She stares at us and wants to touch our faces. She is such a blessing. She doesn't like for Danna Faith to get out of her sight. Danna Faith & I are still waking up very early. This morning we sat on the side of the bathtub (so we wouldn't wake anyone) and she read her Dora Phonics books that Mrs. Henley let her borrow. These have really come in handy here and on the airplane. Thanks so much Mrs. Henley!! We have been using SKYPE on this trip and it is wonderful!! Our families have gotten to see Sarah Catherine and all of us every day live on the screen. It is great!! We are so very thankful to our Heavenly Father for all our family and friends and especially your prayers. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY MIMI & PAPAW!! We love and miss you all.
