February 17 -- Saturday in Calgary

Sleeping wasn't much better last night, still alot of confusion about the time change. We did get up earlier this morning though so we could spend some more time with Blake and Michelle. We knew this would probably be another slow day however Blake surprised me with two tickets to a hockey game tonight, Calgary against Colorado, and for those who know how much I like hockey WOW. Today Roshandra had her first wagon ride as Michelle put her in her little wagon and pulled her over to there park. Wow what a park, they sure do things right around here, Zambonies to scrape and flood the ponds for skating WOW. lots of spots to go sliding and we got to see Deer. The temperature here is a bit colder than from where Roshandra came from but she is enjoying it.

Well back from the walk and off to shopping again (can you imagine). Finally it was time to leave for the rink and see hockey. The girls were just gonna have a girls night and enjoy each other. The rink was a sea of red as in Calgary they are big supporters of there team. Over 19,000 fans showed up for the game and the fans went wild as the flames came out on top. We headed straight home after the game. It sure looked like the girls enjoyed there evening as Michelle wanted to tell her Dad of some of the funny stories her Auntie shared with her. Off to bed again. Tomorrow we will be off to Church with friends John Sandy and Lucy, it will be so good to see them as we haven’t seen them for quite some time.

February 18 --

Another night with still some confusing with the sleep. Catherine not sure how we will make the complete flip over on the time. However Roshandra might have gotten a little more sleep tonight. Breakfast dressed and out the door to church. We met John Sandy and Lucy outside the church it was so good to see them and they too thought our China doll was beautiful. After church they treated us to a Chinese buffet (this was real Chinese food to what we were use too). It was sad saying good-bye to them however we were getting closer to be reunited with our family. Sunday night we decided to go out for supper and I had one of those good ole red steaks (wow it was good). After the supper we went back to Blake’s and got our bags ready and off to the Airport. It was so hard and emotional saying good-bye to Blake and Michelle. They were the first family members to meet Roshandra and they just treated us soooooooooooooooooooooooo good. Thanks so much for that. On another airplane now, sometimes I wonder what Roshandra is thinking on and off airplanes, would this be another good flight? Would she sleep? The plane was scheduled to leave at 12:30 a.m. and it left almost on time.
