February 10 --

The days are getting harder and harder to be away from family, Catherine and I are both feeling it and can't wait to share our precious little lamb.

Today was another busy day (you're probably getting tired of hearing me say that), we visited the zoo. we were only given 2 hrs so I knew where we would spend over half of that yeah you're right with the Pandas. Much too my surprise Catherine didn't spend half the time with the pandas after all, no she didn't she spent ALL THE TIME (not overly surprised). Wow, I don't know how many times we said I wish the kids were here. As Catherine would say they just look so fluffy and cuddly I could give them a big hug. When we first arrived they were just sleeping however Catherine wanted to stay a bit longer. Good job she did because they started to move around more and eat. Catherine was as excited as a kid in a candy store.

We then grabbed lunch and later visited the summer palace where the emperors lived. We strolled around the grounds for a couple hours. It was beautiful to see.

Now let’s talk a bit about our girl, Roshandra. First thing first we now require once again the last pew in the church, so whoever is in it and doesn't need it please move up. I just can't explain in words what a wonderful personality she has. With all the changes she has had over the last week she has still personality plus. Not having a bad day even thou we are on the go all the time she continues to entertain the rest with her singing and laughing etc. She has such a beauty within her personality. God couldn't have given us a more perfect child. She still continues to use the potty or toilet while we whistle. Roshandra is now 6 for 6 when it comes to the bathroom. Everyone is here sleeping now. Tomorrow another big day as we will be doing the great wall of china the jade factory then off to shopping.

Kaio and Luca you're gonna love your new sis and most important she's gonna love you.  Miss you both xoxoxoxoxoxo

P. S. Daycare and kindergarten friends Catherine didn't compare me to a panda bear like she did the monkey.

Kennedy, why are we here?
February 11 --

This morning we left at 9:00 and headed out for the day. Our first stop on this lag will be the Jade factory. This was very interesting as we were able to see a lady working on a carving of an elephant. They told us that she would polish the piece for 5 days before it would reach its shine. After we were able to view items that were finished. Back on the bus and off to the great wall.

We are now called hero’s as that is the name given to those who walk the great wall of China. You see you don't have to walk all the wall to be called the hero just some of it. Catherine and I wanted to do the whole wall and felt we could to the 6000+km however the tour guide only allowed us 2 hrs. We knew then we wouldn't have time. At about 4 min. into the climb we were ready to come back, not really however it was very hard. The steps were from 4"-14" rise making it not only hard for Catherine's little legs but also hard for my long legs with a backpack and my little doll on front. It was a great experience and one more little page for Roshandra's scrapbook.

We had dinner as a group over top of a factory that made brass painted vases (can't remember the name of it and everyone that has a brain would be asleep by now). Very interesting to see the fine detail put into these pots. Back on the bus we went as it was now after 4:00 and we haven't been able to find a washroom suitable to take Roshandra too do the whistle. Just as we rounded the corner we knew she really had to go so up the elevator we shot and too the room. Immediately going into the B flat whistle we were able to get the job done. What a girl!

Tonight we ate high on the hog as we say back home and all the daycare friends, Kindergarten friends and even Kaio and Luca will be jealous to hear where.  You are right, MACDONALDS. I can't believe how good it tastes. One thing I will be glad of when we get home is cold drinks they seem to like everything room temp. Well folks that was today. As usual Roshandra was her loving self.
