This is our last night in China. We will check out of the hotel at 2:00 pm, go to our swearing in ceremony at the American Embassy, and head to the airport. Please pray for us as this will be a long trip for some little girls (and big girl and big boys). We have had a nice time in China but look so forward to being at home.
One of the pictures posted below is our guide Elvin with Joy. He is the best. He made our time doing paperwork easier and had a great sense of humor. He was also great with the kids. We learned many things about China from him that was interesting to us and will be of value to our girls one day. We cannot thank him enough for his help.
We wonder if Joy thinks life is about buffet breakfasts, take out food, eating in restaurants, and buying stuff. She may be in for a shock. We look so forward to showing Joy her new home, her room, bed, toys but mostly introducing her to her new family and friends that have waited with us and supported us during our journey. We thank you all for your love, friendship, support, and prayers. It has been a wonderful journey but we are glad for the real journey to begin.
