We have arrived in Guangzhou today... it's so very exciting to be here.
We are told we will be taken to the Civil Affairs office tomorrow, Monday at 2:30pm where we will get Phoebe Li!!! The nannies will bring the babies to us from the orphanage. There are about 10 families with us.
It's a different world here from Beijing...very lush and green. Our hotel is called The White Swan, and is located on the Pearl River. It's 70 degrees with a gorgeous breeze; such a stark contrast to Beijing. We left our hotel in Beijing at 5:30am for the airport, which was really no problem since we have been getting up at 3:00am these days! Takes a bit to adjust to a 12 hour time difference, but we're getting there.
We both feel great and are comfortable in our hotel room dreaming about tomorrow.
We are so very grateful for this moment, and for the love and support of all of you at home.
