Today was a dream come true for father's day. How's this for the perfect day..... Peyton waking up and me getting her out of her crib, I so love it when she reaches up to me. Jeannine and her playing while I’m in the shower. As I get out of the shower I hear Jeannine and Peyton playing and giggling. What a perfect way to start the morning.
While Jeannine takes a shower, Peyton and I go for a walk. Jeannine meets us for breakfast. We are so in the swing of prepping, feeding, laughing and eating. Before I put her down for a nap, I walk with her and she falls asleep in my arms. I love kissing her forehead, just before putting her in her crib.
I had to go do some paperwork, when I got back, the girls were going shopping. It was perfect; she woke up smiling and ready to play. We played and laughed. I made snow out of torn up paper and we had a snow day in china. She loved it! We had lunch; she is such a great eater. I have the bottle thing down. Then we played with what hairdo she was going to have for the day. Then we went for a walk. It was heaven.
Later Jeannine and I and the rest of us went in to the city to get her passport. It was quite emotional. Jeannine had a tender moment, when they wished her American life to be happy and prosperous. We will do everything in our hearts to make sure this little girl feels wanted and loved. We leave tomorrow for Guangzhou. We really loved it here.
