Our last day in China
We started our last day in China with yet another trip to the massive breakfast buffet and then Natalie’s second breathing treatment.  She is doing better now. It should help us with our flight home.  We started packing for our trip home and Natalie started unpacking it for us.  It was quite funny!  We dolled her up in her cute ladybug dress from Lynn for her official US Consulate appointment.  We tried many times to get her to keep the hat on – she is adorable with it on – but she did not allow it!

We traveled with 47 other US adoptive families to get sworn in and pick up our immigration paperwork and Natalie’s passport and VISA.  After the ceremony, we said our goodbyes to three of our travel families.  We hope to see them again at a reunion in the future. Our travel families were spread out all over the US. Milwaukee, WI; Foursand, TX; Charlotte, NC; Orlando, FL; Roanoke and Richmond, VA.  The last three are the Leizhou SWI babies and the girls are very active.

Alana Velez, who will live in Orlando, will be on our first two flights tomorrow.  The girls will keep everyone entertained – or at least awake!

We had dinner with the Velez’s and will meet them at 5:30 AM to go the airport.  Our flight leaves at 8AM and then we will have a 6 hour lay over in Beijing, then a 14 hour flight to Newark, NJ.  We arrive in Richmond at 10:20 PM.  It is a little sad that we are leaving Natalie’s birth country but, we can return again for a visit one day.
