Adoption Day
Today we are officially a Lang Gang of three.  We finished the all of our Chinese portion of the adoption process.  In the eyes of the Chinese government Natalie is all ours.  We now have to complete the US side.  Nothing is easy or quick.
We went to the civil affairs office for the last bit of paperwork.  Her nannies from the orphanage were still there.  After some encouragement from one of her nannies, Natalie walked to us.  That was the first time since Gotcha Day.  She is standing more today as well.   She seems to like the stacking cups and plastic links the most.  She has figured out how to stack the cups in order.  She is very smart.  As I am typing, Fonda got her first kiss from Natalie! I am jealous!  There is never a camera around when you need one.  We had to go to two separate meetings at the civil affairs office.  At each we were asked of we wanted this child and promised not to abuse or abandon her.  We have her medical exam this afternoon.

Tomorrow is more paperwork for her US Visa.  We are off to a Cantonese Style dinner tonight with our guide XiXi.  In the Guangdong province they have a saying ….

They eat anything with four legs except for a table and anything that flies expect for an airplane.  She promised not to trick us into eating anything we don’t want to.
