Natalie did not want any table food and really did not appreciate being woken up this morning. We had a trip planned in Guangzhou for some baby supplies. We went to a store called Carefore, which is like Walmart. After carrying around the dead weight of a sleeping baby we broke down and bought a stroller. She loves it and is happy to be wheeled around all day. We finally found a food she likes and its mashed potatoes. Once she ate she has been a different person. She has really warmed up to both of us. We had dinner at a Japanese Restaurant at the hotel. We ordered her some congee and she could not get enough. She is being exposed to lots of new things and has to investigate every detail. I will post a picture from this morning and one from tonight you will see a big difference.

March 18 --
Today was a free day with nothing official planned. We slept in a bit and tried to catch up some sleep. We went shopping for Chinese outfits, dolls and two pair of “Squeaky Shoes”. Now Grand mommy does not have to worry. We even broke down and bought some Starbucks coffee. The rest of the time was mixed between the playroom and naps. We have a full day tomorrow with an appointment at the civil affairs office and a medical exam for Natalie.
