Ni hao (Chinese for hello and said "nee how") Everyone,
After 16 hours in airplanes and over 24 hours "door-to-door" we have finally arrived in Beijing. What a whirlwind! Weather here upon arrival was a sunny 81 degrees. Had to peel off the sweat shirts & jackets. Had an "interesting" first dinner at the hotel. Let's suffice it to say we should all come home a few pounds lighter. But not to worry, David ventured out and located a source of diet coke so his survival is assured!! Tomorrow is our day to visit the Great Wall. Should have some nice pictures to post from that excursion. Lastly, we learned today that we get Meili at 3pm on Tuesday -- 66 hours from NOW!! Can't wait.
