I am sorry it has taken me so long to post this. I am not eve sure if anyone will see it. Anyway, the flight from Hong Kong to San Francisco was 12 hours; three hour layover there in San Francisco and 5 hours to Dulles. She did ok. It was a very long trip. She only slept off and on. We later found out that she had an ear infection. I can't even explain the joy I felt when we saw Robert and Lily at the airport. They looked so big. It was the hardest thing I have ever done in my life, to leave them for two weeks. Mary was not a very happy camper, needless to say. By the time we got home and to bed it was 1:00 am on Friday. I think we had gone about 27 hours without sleep. She slept a couple of hours and then it was up again. She has done very good. The antibiotic really helped her ear and her mood. She has slept through the night since Monday. Yeah!!! She is so happy and loves it here. She can now get down on the ground and crawl with some freedom, unlike the hotel rooms. Robert and Lily adore her and we are all adjusting. She is doing great in the car seat, which was a big concern. Of course, she mostly has Robert or Lily to entertain her. It is so awesome to see her blossom. She is getting another tooth. She takes two naps a day. Robert and Lily started school this week. It has been good for them to be with their friends. I go back in October to teaching and my mom, the saint that she is , is going to watch Mary. Couldn't be a better place than Ammy's. She has enjoyed going to the Daily Grind and Target with mommy. We have been trying to keep things very low key. We went by church Wednesday night for a bit, and you would have thought there was a major celebrity.
