Before I tell you about our day, I wanted to tell you how God provided for us today. We had brought playtex bottles and liners and she has done great with them. However, we only have two nipples that work real good and we weren't sure if the liners would last until we got home. Every time we go to a store we are looking for Playtex items, but cannot find any. There is a lot of Avent things. Anyway, today our guide pulls out a suitcase and tells us it has items left behind by other families and we could have whatever we needed. In the suitcase were Playtex bottles, nipples and liners all in a Ziploc bag. God provided. We are set until we get home.
Mary slept from 8:00 until 6:30. Good girl. We had breakfast and went for medical checkups today. We are now with all 19 families that are adopting with America World Adoption. Only nine of us went to Hunan and the others adopted in other places and we are all back together now. She did not like her medical exam. Watch out Pediatric Associates. It was chaotic in there with 19 families plus other groups there too. That may have caused Mary anxiety. There are pictures below. She weighed 7.5 kg which is about 16 1/2 pounds. Then we went to the Carrefour which is like a Walmart. Again very chaotic. We got few necessities, like Oreos and headed back to the hotel. While there Ron found a Papa Johns pizza that will deliver the hotel. She took a long afternoon nap and Ron had to fill out paperwork for two hours. At 6:00 all 19 families went to the Japanese Restaurant for dinner. Excellent food. Mary got dressed up for dinner and everyone thought she looked adorable which of course she did. She did great at dinner. She had a fantastic day. She was all smiles and love for me and Ron. We are all counting down the days.
See everyone soon.

August 26 -- Shopping!
We had a good Sunday. Missed church. We took a taxi to an area where there is shopping. It was very hot, but fun. Ate at Lucy's and that was enjoyable. We had someone do her's and Lily's names in Chinese characters. Each name had two characters. The neat thing is they share one of the same characters. After all the time we (I mean I) went round and round about a name, it seems like we picked the right name. She did great today. Nothing really exciting to report. We are really tired and ready to get home, I think I've said that before. She made some "raspberries" at me today, very cute. We have been calling her "Na-Na" . Her Chinese name is Wei Na and she likes the nickname. She still has a little cough and gets restless at night. We are curious to see how she does in a car seat. We love you Robert and Lily. We are so close to being home.
