Mary's First Flight
Mary had a good nights sleep last night.  She will cry or cough a little in the night and then goes right back to sleep, but makes for a restless sleep for us being the same room.  She was up at 5:45.

We ate breakfast at 8:00 and we headed for the airport.  We drove 30 mins to the airport, waited 45mins to get on plane, flew for 1 hour then 40 mins in bus to hotel.  A lot of travel for a small girl.  She did great on the plane so hopefully our 20 hour flight home will go smoothly.  Take off did not bother her.

We are in Guangzhou where she will get a medical exam, her visa and passport.  The hotel we are in is a Marriott and it is fantastic.  Biggest hotel in China.  Our air conditioning is working better then in the last hotel.  There are more people who speak English as this is a bigger city then where we were before.

Mary had her passport photo taken today.  She didn't like that much and I had to do a little song and dance to get her to stop crying.  We walked to the local 7-11 and got a few things.  At dinner some things on the menu were:  marinated goose webs and wings, barbecued eel, noodles with pig’s intestines, duck's tongue, and double boiled pig lungs.  We went with the sweet and sour pork.  Mary gets really fussing in the evening and it is hard to eat dinner for us.  Usually one at a time. No wonder she is tired we never stop.  She is sleeping peacefully now and in the morning we will go for the medical exam.  I just love to see her smile.
