Great Day In China!
Last night at dinner Ronnie had the hotel bring a birthday cake and all the families sang.  Very special.  Funny was Ronnie said the hotel was already planning on bringing me a cake they saw my birthday on the passport.  The people here at the hotel could not be nicer.  Mary went to sleep around 8:00 and woke at 5:30.  She took a bottle. Then we gave her a bath, which she loved.  She splashed and played and did not mind the water going over her face.  After this she took a little nap better breakfast.  We went down to breakfast and she sat in her high chair a little while. It was an improvement. She ate congee (watery rice) and steamed eggs.  Then we headed to a museum of the Hunan area.  She did great there.  She was in the snuggly with me the whole time and then slept some. Very hungry when she woke up.  We weren't far from the hotel.  Please keep in your prayers a family with us. They are first time parents (so a little nervous) and now the dad is very sick.  They need prayer coverage.  When we got back to the hotel Ron and I ventured off to a different restaurant today.  In was more Chinese food.  We sat down a the table and they brought us what looked like a credit card and left.  We weren't sure what to do, but our guide was in the restaurant and he said you go up to where you want the food (buffet style) and they scan your card each time you order something then you pay at the end.  On the buffet they had goose feet, frog, fungus, and pig tails made three different ways. Mary was very good.  She sat in the high chair the whole time and had congee and fried rice.  It was back to the room.  She napped for about an hour.  We had our laundry sent out today which was nice. We are set until we get home.  I could get used to this.  Laundry taken and brought back clean, bed made for me each day, fresh towels, and I don't have to make or clean up meals.  Anyway, after her nap we went to the playroom and had a playdate with another family.  I cannot even tell how God put this group of people together.  We are all having so much fun with each other.  We went back to the Western restaurant for dinner.  Mary ate a whole bowl of steamed eggs.  She was very hungry and getting tired now.  We are blessed beyond belief.  Mary is a wonderful baby and I can't wait to see what God has in store for her.  We are all counting down the days until we get home.  We are half way there.  Enjoy the pictures.
