Happy Birthday Mommy!!
Today she became officially ours on my birthday.  It'll be hard to top that in years to come.  She slept from 8:30 to 6:00.  We gave her the first bath this morning.  I just wiped her down last night.  It was late by the time we got all the paper work done.  We ate breakfast at the hotel western restaurant.  She did not like the high chair.  She did eat ham, eggs, noodles, and yogurt; finally I may have a good eater.  We came back to the room and she slept for a few minutes.  When she woke up she crawled over to me and put her mouth on my mouth, I like to think she kissed me.  We left at 9:30 for the civil affairs office.  We signed papers, etc.  It was so hot and humid in that room it was almost unbearable.  When we finished at 11:00 the babies were all tired and hungry, but we had one more stop.  We went to Wal-Mart for needs and snacks.  After that we ate at KFC and Mary had her first french fry.  She seemed to like it.  The food was good. Ron's chicken sandwich had peas and car rots in it.  His hamburger yesterday had egg on it.  We all started talking today about what we are craving from home.  I am dying for a Chick Fil A large coke.  Anyway, when we came back to the room Mary and I played and listened to praise and worship.  They told us that the babies might not poo for a couple of days.  Not our girl, we had one last night and today.  Ron and I walked around the hotel this afternoon and she fell asleep in the snuggly.  We found the pool.  They require a swim cap so I think we will pass.  We also found an awesome playroom maybe for tomorrow.  We are meeting another family for dinner at six and hopefully we will have another good night.  We are done with the paper work in Hunan, but have to stay two more days for things to be finalized.  So we have Wednesday and Thursday without appointments.  Tomorrow they want us to go see a museum then afternoon free.  Friday we have short flight to another place for her visa.

Let me tell you a few things about Mary:  She loves her daddy ( I can understand why!),  she is fascinated with her feet and hands ( she may have a future in gymnastics the way she is able to get her feet over her head and she has perfected a split),  she is very happy unless she is hungry or tired,  she smiles and laughs,  she like to watch herself open and close her hands, she does this sucking thing with her tongue all the time (very similar to what Lily did when she went to sleep as a baby),  she takes her bottles great and has no problems sucking,  her favorite toy of course is not even a toy she loves the container with her Gerber finger food,  and she has one bottom tooth, she is just really quite amazing.

Thanks again for the emails.  I love you all.  Keep sending the prayers.
