It was an early morning leaving the hotel in Beijing at 5:30 am. We had a two hour flight to Hunan. We have a very nice hotel. We ate lunch at 12 and we're leaving to go the the civil affairs by 2:40. We were to meet our girls at 3:00. As we are pulling into the office we saw the nannies taking the babies in. They got the girls up the stairs before we got off the bus. We took an elevator up and we were told that they would bring them out one by one. However, they were all lined up and waiting for us. It was a very hot room. They babies were all beautiful. We were family number 6. The room was kind of chaotic as we all tried to get pictures. Before we knew it she was in our arms. She is so beautiful. She came right to me. Then she started to cry. She was very warm and had a cough and a little wheeze. Please pray for this. After a few minutes of trying to calm her down the only thing that would work was Ronnie. That's right; she wants Ronnie all the time. We left the civil affairs office and went to get formula, etc. At this point she let me walk her around and she sat on my lap on the way back to the hotel. She had driven four hours to get to us and she was hungry. It was very cute how she tried to catch the rain drops on the window. When we got back to the hotel, Ron had to go and sign papers. She and I did well. We got cleaned up and put on some new pjs and played with some new toys. She was laughing and happy. I know that you will enjoy the pictures. The real thing is even better. We also got the clothes she was left in and a copy of the newspaper where they tried to see if anyone would claim her. Very emotional day. We are so tired. I can't wait to share more when we get home. By the way, I am now getting the emails on the guestbook. I am so sorry I can not email everyone back. I so appreciate hearing from you.
