I'm back on-line!!
Well, temporarily anyway! We have awesome neighbors here in the hotel who are letting me borrow their computer right now! I can't download pics but I can tell you about our day! It was much better! So sorry for the downer of a message yesterday! Our weekend here in Guangzhou was not good! My computer died, our phone cards were wiped clean of our minutes, Paula is sick and Madelyn was not liking her mama! But behold, God answered prayers as today!! We had a great day! We had Maddie's exam this morning and she did WONDERFUL! She watched as all the other children had their exam and then basically told the Doctors what to do, it was so funny!
Then we went shopping on Shaiman Island shopping and it was awesome!!!!! Julie you were so right!!!! I felt like I was in Downtown St. Charles, Missouri with all the cobblestone sidewalks and the little quant stores everywhere! We really had a nice time and bought alot of gifts. I think we are going back there Wednesday afternoon! Maddie was so good, she sat in her stroller the whole time and munched on her goldfish crackers. We have had a great day and I am so thankful for that after the week we had! Maddie seems to be really attaching to me and although has her "three-year" old tantrums is still the sweetest thing ever!!! Everyone in our group has commented on her personality and how beautiful she is......of course I say....just kidding, but she is wonderful!
Tomorrow we visit a tea house, Wednesday is the Consulate Appointment, Thursday we take our oath of adoption and Friday we come home, yay, four more days daddy and Joshua and we will see you!
I will try to write again tomorrow! Just wanted you all to know how much better our day was! still very homesick but getting excited as I know we only have a few days left!!
