Today started off with another trip to the Civil Affairs office. We went and picked up Klaire's adoption certificate. We then got back on the bus and went to the police station to apply for Klaire's passport. We should get her passport next Wednesday!
We went to the hotel and had lunch and then tried to get Klaire to eat. She had a rough day. Her tummy was really hurting her. She wouldn't eat her bottle at all. She didn't want to drink water, juice or her formula. She just kept whining. We got a little worried about her since she wouldn't drink anything. We went and got Amy and she gave us a suppository for her! She had already had her stinky diaper, so we wasn't sure that was it. Well, it did the trick! Halleujah! 3 stinky diapers later and she was a different girl! ha! Her little personality is really coming out !
Later in the afternoon, we took Klaire down to swim at the pool! She loved it! She splashed around and had a lot of fun! We have plenty of time here in this hotel, so looks like we will be going to the pool quite a bit!
This evening, we had a party in our room! We got together with the Foote's, Martine's, and the Schmeiser's. We ordered out food from Danny's Bagel's and let the girls play together. It was so much fun to see all the girls play. All 4 of the girls were in the same room at the orphanage but had separate cribs. They were all playing with the toys and taking them away from each other and not one made a peep. You could tell they were used to playing with each other. It was great to spend time with these families! They are all wonderful people and I know they are going to be life long friends! We are already talking about reunions!
Tomorrow we are going to the zoo and Pizza Hut for lunch! It is mainly a free fun day for us! I am ready to do some shopping! ha! Thanks to everyone for the e-mails! We are reading them all, but with a 10 month old now- it is hard to respond to each e-mail! We love getting them and we are reading each and every one! Keep sending them- it makes us feel more at home! We are having a great time, but realize we have still 10 more days before we get to go home and introduce you to Klaire! I know you all will just love her like we do!
Until tomorrow...
