Hello everyone! Well we arrived in Guangzhou very late last night. The trip went ok with the exception of the lost stroller and baby carry on, so we might have to purchase another.
Today we met the other travel members of our group and went to Shamian Island the shops are pretty amazing, they sell very strange items from scorpions on a stick to dried bats, we saw many kittens and pups for sale, not sure if they are for consumption.
Tomorrow is the day that we meet our baby Kaelyn, we are very anxious there are so many cute little babies all around us.
For those of you that will be staying at the Holiday Inn Shifu, we highly recommend it. The white swan looks very old on the outside. Our hotel is very nice and modern. We have shops within walking distance as you can see in the pictures; most vendors are very friendly and will not harass you.
We went to Lucy’s for lunch today ah not what we thought! We also went to Jordan’s Shop he provided us with a free calligraphy of the baby’s name, it was very nice. Our baby was born in the year of the rat so we purchased a stuffed animal rat.
Shera so far no bunny post cards plenty of live rabbits for sale though.
Chi chi, Chris, Joey & Sharelle wish you could be here, this is an amazing place. We might have to make another trip to china someday.
