Psalms 118:24 This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
There were no scheduled activities for us today. It was a day of rest, just as it should be. We really miss attending our church back home and all of our family and friends. However, we do not miss the cold nasty winter weather you all are having right now!
Hope is like a budding rose which is just waiting to open up and show its inward beauty. She loves to be held and kissed! She is constantly sucking on her tongue and making cute noises with her mouth. We do believe she is hearing some sounds. Sometimes when we call her by her nickname “FenFen” she turns as if she can hear us. We have noticed that she crosses her eyes frequently and this could indicate she is having vision problems as well. She is now eating good for us! She does not attempt to put food in her own mouth yet. She likes rice and oatmeal. She doesn’t seem to like eggs or bananas. She likes playing with her toys but is just as easily entertained with a piece of colorful paper. We are teaching her the meaning of “No” and indicating its meaning with a head shake. She is really a sweet baby and we can’t wait to bring her home!!
We are finally able to send and receive emails once again. Thank you for your prayers and emails!!
