Today is the big Medical exam day. One of those days I sent a special outfit for. Hope a bow gets in the hair too. Even though the weather was terrible, pouring rain, there was excitement with all the families. My husband and the others have anticipated this check-up for two years now and the day was finally here. Each family was taken into different rooms to be checked, each even given a hearing test. Houston said when Geordyn heard the music she started dancing! She's a happy baby. God has blessed us all with healthy babies that are adjusting well to each of their families.
After the doctor's appointment, half the group went to McDonalds for lunch, the other half to Pizza Hut. After lunch they realized their van had left them. They found out later the van driver's father had taken seriously ill and the driver had to get to the hospital. Some of the group took a taxi back to the hotel, but some decided to walk the streets and see what was there. Unfortunately my husband was in the group walking the street because it turned out to be one of the best shopping they had found. I think I have created a monster by turning my husband onto shopping. When he was telling me about the stores they visited, he was full of excitement and couldn't wait to tell me about the treasures he had found. And to think the pearl factory visit was coming up later in the day. If anyone sounded like they were on a shopping high, it was him! I have a feeling the girls and I will have lots of pearls to wear when he gets home.
