We checked out of the hotel at 10:30 with the babies passports! Our flight was supposed to leave at 1:30 but because of a thunderstorm it was delayed for over 2 1/2 hours. We finally took off around 4:30. This was the baby’s 1st plane ride. Georgdyn whined a little at take-off and landing, but figured it was the pressure bothering her. Once in the air she was fine.
On the plane a nice little Chinese lady asked if she come comb Geordyn's hair with her wooden comb. She tried to comb down the top where it had been put up in the waterspout everyone likes to call it. Every time the lady would comb it down, Geordyn's hair would bounce right back up.
I was hoping the bottle at the airport would last Geordyn for the flight, but no... she got hungry. So I had to try to get the backpack down from the overhead compartment and find what I needed. Much to my dismay I had left the rest of the formula in that last bottle she had at the airport. I just tried to tie it up and drop in a new refill.
The little Chinese lady was so helpful and nice. After landing she helped me get the backpack back on, holding in for me while I got my arms in it. So sweet are the people here.
After arriving in Guangzhou, we still had an hour bus ride to the hotel. Once seeing the hotel, we knew our days of luxury living were over. Anyway got to get Geordyn ready for her medical check-up tomorrow. I promised her mother I would have a bow in her hair for that! Better start trying to choose one.
