The Lord is soooo good, you guys can't believe how great Christa Lan is doing!! The girls love her so much!
We had some official business to do this morning. The Civil Affairs Bureau interviewed us this morning and asked us if we were satisfied and wanted to formally adopt her...we said YES!! They asked us if we promised to never abuse or abandon her, and if we promised to educate her...we said YES!! Then everything was notarized and made official.
After the official business was completed, we came back for a good lunch at the White Swan. Let me tell you what, this kid can EAT!! She and I will collectively keep our food bill high!! She is making wonderful eye contact and now objects if she can't see me next to her...great signs of healthy attachment! Thank you Lord, we prayed so hard for help in that area!! We went to Starbucks for some coffee, then we were off to the park. Christa tried to do everything her sisters did, so she fell several times and I was afraid the locals were going to report us!
We headed back to the hotel and the girls played for a couple hours before dinner. We went to Lucy's and had American food (and a cold Coors Light), and then we all showered and crashed...sorry, that's why this is late!!
Dad is super tired. He got some extra rest yesterday while we played at the park, so hopefully he'll feel better today.
Today's post should be more exciting, we are off to see the sights!
Christa can now say Mama, puppy and kitty.
