We arrived at the civil affairs building this morning and officially adopted Cameron.
His new name is Cameron XingHong Albert. When he saw the orphanage staff he
started to cry and wanted nothing to do with them. He has attached very strong to Jason and at this point does not want anyone else to hold him. Mommy will just have to take a back seat at this point. He has started to open up more today and is starting to smile alot more. We have not gotten him to talk to us but he definitely can tell you with his nonverbal clues!
We went to lunch today and he surprised us with the fact that he can eat very well
with chopsticks. Later on we went to the passport office to apply for his Chinese passport.
We waited two hours to do the paperwork and should get his passport by Friday afternoon. The rest of the week is free time so we should have some opportunity to see Kunming. Also, we have a good chance at locating Cameron's abandonment location.
