This morning at 10:15 am a very confident, self-assured and beautiful Bella walked through the hotel doors and into our lives. Although she was hesitant about us at first she quickly warmed up and is all smiles.
She certainly lives up to her name and is stunning. We just can't believe how accepting she is of us and we know the ayi's did a great job of preparing her for our arrival.
After all the officials left we went to a park and walked around with Bella. She loved looking at the bugs, feeling the grass, and watching the water from a bridge. We then came back to our hotel and played. It is so fun to watch her play with her baby doll and sing Chinese lullabies. She talks to us constantly and sometimes we can figure out what she is saying. She also loves to look out our hotel window and watch all the traffic and people go by.
We are wondering what we ever did to deserve two of the most beautiful girls in all of Xi'an.
Daddy is enjoying all the kisses she blows to him and mommy is getting lots of snuggles, we are completely in love.
Katie-Beth, Madison and Micheline you will have so much fun playing dress up with Bella, her ayi's told us that is one of her favorite things to do.
Christopher, Noah, and Melanie we have been showing Bella the video of you and she says brother and sister in Chinese and points to you. We love you and miss you.
