We have made it safe and sound! We are staying tonight at the beautiful White Swan Hotel and tomorrow we are off to Xi'an. Our gotcha day is scheduled for Oct. 24th but we won't be surprised if we get Bella on the 23rd!!!
Our trip over went very well. The highlight was meeting up with Mark, Colleen, and Mia Ferraro during our almost five hour layover in LA. You may remember that the Ferraro's traveled at the same time we did to get Melanie in May of 2004.
Mark and Colleen helped us get our bags checked for our overseas flight and then took us out to eat at one of our favorite restaurants, The Cheesecake Factory!! We had so much fun visiting with them and playing with Mia. Mia is as beautiful as ever and is such a ham. She had us laughing all throughout dinner. She is also a huge flirt with the men;0) She seemed to especially like our waiter.
Thanks so much Mark and Colleen for a fun evening and your prayers, you gave us the energy we needed to make it on the final leg of our journey to China.
Katie-Beth, Madison, and Micheline we saw some beautiful princess dresses and we thought of pretty you would look in them.
Christopher, Noah, and Melanie we already miss you. Only two more day until we meet your little sister.
