Bella started the morning out her chipper self but soon showed signs of not feeling well. By lunch time she had a temperature of 101.6 and wasn’t eating or drinking much. We decided to have her seen here by the hotel doctor. She said Bella has tonsillitis, though she says it is not a real bad case. She also has some congestion in her chest. She prescribed some antibiotics and decongestants. Bella has responded very well to the motrin we have given her and this evening is eating and drinking well and playing.
While Bella napped (which she did a lot today) Mommy went out to get some last minute shopping done. We have some extra yuan we need to get rid of;0)
Our guide told us all our paperwork went off without a hitch so we are scheduled to go to the US Consulate tomorrow for our swearing in ceremony. Then we catch a 9 pm flight to LA.
Tonight we were to go on the Pearl River Cruise. Daddy is going to make that trip solo while Mommy stays back and gives Bella some extra lovin’.
We will try and post one last time tomorrow.
Girls, Bella wore the princess nightgown you gave her and she LOVED it! She had fun spinning around in it. We miss you.
Christopher, Noah and Melanie it won’t be long now until we are home with your sister. We can hardly wait. We love you!
