We finally made it to Guangzhou, China! After traveling for more than 24 hours, we were pretty exhausted. Alicia did great - she is so small, she would cuddle up in her seat, or lay across our laps to relax. Our plane landed around 11:00 p.m. Saturday China time (11:00 a.m. Saturday Indiana time).
This morning (Sunday), we went and ate breakfast, then walked around the island site-seeing & shopping. Alan said that the shopping was worse than the plane ride, but he survived. It wasn't too bad out there today, probably didn't get a bit over 96F or 97F! Alan got the best deal today; he bought a $4,000 Rolex for only $20! He said, because of his keen sense smelling good deals, and his smart sales pitches that he was able to get them to mark it down so much.......(from $27 bucks). Mom & Buck went for ice cream earlier this evening by themselves but had to come back to the hotel & grab me for deals they found on silk quilts.
We go tomorrow afternoon (Monday) to get Ashli!
