Today will be our last post. I can't believe that it is now time to leave. It is a bitter sweet thing for us. We have really enjoyed our experience here and we have had a great time....but we are so ready to get home and see Austin and the rest of our family and of course our church family.
God has given us a beautiful daughter! She is a perfect fit for our family. To see her blossom just in the short time she has been with us is truly amazing. It just warms our hearts to know that we are the ones she will call Mommy and Daddy. What an honor!
God is so good...and once again he showed us that His timing is perfect! God does hear our every prayer!
For anyone who is thinking about adoption or maybe God has put it on your heart I would say to you that adoption is a wonderful thing. All children deserve to have a Mommy and Daddy and they will bring you joy beyond measure! I like the saying...If God brings you to it then He will see you through it!!!
This afternoon we will go to our Consulate appointment at 4:00 for our swearing in. Then it will be off to the airport for that long flight home. We will stay Wednesday night in LA so we can try to rest before catching our flight to finally be home. Please pray for us to have a safe travel and that Arabella will be fine with being in a plane for so long. This will be her first time to ever fly.
