Today was a very exciting day. We started our day early by going to get Arabella's physical exam. Our girl weighed in at 22 lbs! She wasn't too crazy about the doctors messing with her but in all she did fine.
We had a very special and wonderful lunch. Grazia, Damaris, Eve, and Judene who are volunteers from the Schenzhen Orphanage and Bao'n Orphanage which is where Arabella is from drove into Guangzhou to have lunch with the Bao'n families. All of them where so excited to see the babies with there Mommies and Daddies. It was reconfirmed to us today just how well taken care of the babies were. It was so wonderful to meet and talk with each one of them. Judene, who is the volunteer at Bao'n visits the children every Wednesday. Before we came to China she checked in on Arabella for us. Getting her email was priceless!
We had lunch at the White Swan Hotel. Yum yum!!! It was good! We had prime rib, potatoes, shrimp, and ice cream. They had a little bit of everything!
Later in the day we went shopping. Arabella was telling all of the shop keepers BYE.
It was so cute.
Tomorrow we will start packing what we can. We leave in 2 days! We are so ready to see everyone!
