Today was a free day so we decided to go to the jade and pearl wholesalers market. I have never seen so much jewelry in all my life. We bought a few pieces one of them being for Arabella when she is older. There were so many people on the streets today!
Lunch was at McDonalds. Only in China will I say that McDonalds is great! After we got back to our hotel we rested for a bit and then it was out shopping again.
All of the other families who have been in different provinces for their first week are making their way to Guangzhou today. It is so nice to see so many Americans now. We don't quite feel so out of place. We enjoyed getting acquainted with the other families in our group.
Tonight after dinner we took Arabella for some ice cream. She wasn't too sure about it at first but once I got it in her mouth that is all it took. We have an ice cream girl now.
The older ladies will look at Arabella then look at us and either smile, say beautiful, or give us a thumbs up. She gets quite the attention.
Sorry for it taking so long to post but it is really difficult to attach pictures in an email here. It takes forever or sometimes I will lose everything and have to start over. By then I am to whooped to try it again.
We love you all! We have three different friends who have lost a love one since we have been in China. I ask that everyone please lift these people who are so dear to us up in prayer. We wish so bad we could be there with them.
