This is one of the best days of our lives. Arabella is officially ours!!!!! We are a forever family. Today we went back to the Civil Affairs Offices for our interviews. Arabella just shined for the officials with her cute little laugh and her adorable smile.
Afterwards, our guides took all of the families to a Chinese grocery store so we could get whatever baby items or drinks we wanted for our room. That was an experience. It was three stories high and or course everything was in Chinese. It was just a good thing we had our guides with us.
We came back to the hotel had some lunch and all three of us took a nap. I am not able to sleep so for the past two mornings I am up at 1:00 am China time. I try to be quiet but I still wake Kevin up somehow. So....we just watch TV and watch Arabella sleep.
Later on in the evening we went shoe shopping for Arabella. We did find her the squeaky shoes like we wanted. I did find out one thing today....Arabella is a shoe girl!!! When it was bedtime she did not want her new shoes off so I had to wait until she was asleep to take them off.
In our referral papers it said that she has a ready smile and she is active. Both of these things are very true! We love this little girl so much! And just in two days she has brought so much joy to the both of us!!!!!! I just can't wait for everyone to meet her. She is just so amazing.
Better go for now, but know that we miss everyone and we love the emails that are coming in. It still makes us feel connected to home.

P.S. For anyone fixing to travel...we highly recommend SKYPES. It was so wonderful when our son Austin got to see his little sister!!!!!
