3.27 hours until we see Annie for the first time! I am having a little trouble typing right now? I keep getting Chinese characters. I can't get my camera to talk to the computer either. If my Chinese was a little better I could probably navigate these menus a little better. Yesterday we saw the Great Wall, the Jade Factory, etc. etc. blah blah blah. We can't wait to meet Annie!!! Our guide said she is a little shy and that she can walk. Very soon you will have pictures.
We arrived in Taiyuan early in the morning and checked into our hotel.
At 3PM we went to the Civil Affairs Office and walked into the most depressing room I've ever seen. Annie was in a couch with her care giver. She saw mommy and reached out for me! When I picked her up she put here head on my chest. She barely cried but but had the shakes from trying to keep it together. I would have handled it a lot better if she was screaming. All in all she is doing great. Please tell Will and Max that she likes to pick her nose so she will fit right in. We are having computer troubles so we don't have any pictures to send (The computer needs a driver to speak to my camera at this hotel. My Chinese isn't good enough to navigate through the menus to download it). Annie is perfect.
