Today we went to the Great Wall. It was absolutely amazing! It is hard to even describe how massive it is. When you consider what it took for them to build this wall, it is mind boggling. We all are in agreement that it is our favorite site so far. We rode a chair lift up and then a toboggan down. The girls loved that! It was a long ride down and lots of fun.
We left Beijing at 6:15 tonight and came to Xian. This is Anna's birth province. Our guide here is Penny. She has been helping with adoptions for 5 years. We will go to the store tomorrow and then leave the hotel at 3:30 to get Anna. We are going to the Civil Affairs Office for that. We are supposed to get her at 4pm. So in 17 hours we leave to go! I still can't believe it! I guess when I see her tomorrow I will finally believe it is real. Please be praying for Anna. She is spending her last night in an orphanage but she doesn't even know it! Pray for her and us. We have a big day tomorrow!
