Somebody’s got the chicken pox, and it’s not Mommy or Daddy! We had to go all the way to China to get chicken pox. Poor Anna – she’s all dotted! I had just commented that the orphanage gave us our babies and all of their spots are coming out, not knowing that she had the chicken pox! She has had a cough, diaper rash, and some mosquito bites, but with all of this, she is still holding her head high and trying to be a good girl. We had a very nice day. We went to the park. We ate tuna for lunch. We then went to the grocery store. Anna loves noodles. There is not much else to eat here.
Everything is hot and takes like the city. But, I did find a snicker bar and it tasted like home. Can’t wait to get there!
Also a special note to my friend, Laura – your thank you note is in China with me, as well as everyone else’s. I got them done at the Newark Airport, and then could not find a mailbox. So please forgive the delay. Also hello to Jean Marie and family, Elizabeth, Ryan, Rebecca, Tia, and all of our great neighbors, and Colton’s wonderful nurses and therapists. We love and miss you. See you not soon enough.
Much love to all,
Jeff, Christina, and Anna
p.s. Happy Birthday to our biggest boy Andrew! Wow, you are 13 now!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are so proud of you and we love you very much! Remember to keep Jesus in your heart and ask for God's direction and He will guide you along the right path and never let you down. He is our ONLY hope! Hope you had a greattttttttttttt day! LOTS of LOVE from China, Mom, Dad, and Anna
