Greetings! Today was official! We still have lots more business to take care of, but today Anna became our daughter. Signed, sealed, and delivered! Yeah and Praise the Lord!
Today was a better day. During mid afternoon, Anna coughed and I imitated her. She laughed for the first time and then she cried. It was such a release of her little emotions. She finally felt secure enough with us to be herself. After that, she did a big pouty lip, and I laughed hysterically.
She continued to do that, which really made me laugh. She wanted to keep us laughing so then she started doing raspberries, and smiling and laughing.
It was so good to see her smile. I can’t imagine what she has been through in her short life.
Anna is short and very chubby. She loves to eat, and will even pull your hand to her mouth to feed her. Anna ate her first banana (ha, ha, Anna Banana!!!). She also consumed an entire bowl of egg custard at dinner. Big Full Belly! Yum, Yum!
A big hello to Chad and the second grade at Armbrust Christian Academy. And of course to Andrew and Colton, Grandma, Aunt Polly, Aunt Candice, and all of our wonderful friends. Please continue to pray for all of us as we adjust to our new lives. All our love and blessings.
