Yay!!!  Three more "sleeps" til we get to come home!!!

We had our medical exam this morning.  Pretty uneventful - and that's a good thing.  She is a BIG girl (in comparison to what my Amy was).  She is 33 inches tall and almost 24 pounds!  Oh my dear Amy... your "baby Anna" isn't so little...

I completed the paperwork necessary for our consulate appointment today.  Lots of signing papers and writing Anna's Chinese name...  Then we went shopping!  I think I am about done.  I had a long list and then I decided I didn't need to bring back a ton of stuff this time.  I picked up a few Christmas gifts for family and got the kids some neat stuff :)

We did enjoy some rest and relaxation in our corner of the Starbucks!  Yum!!!  I enjoyed a caramel Frappachino!!!  Yum, yum, yum.  I asked a Chinese gal - with gestures - to take our picture.  She looked at me and said "so it's automatic?"  I said that her English was good and thanked her for helping!  Too funny!

We played a lot in the Swan Room today.  It was a good change of pace and allowed Anna to see other children interacting with siblings and with parents.  Unfortunately, there was a very, very upset little girl in there tonight and that has had a pretty rough effect on my Anna.  I think she can't understand why the little girl just cried and cried and no momma comforted her.  She is not falling asleep well tonight - and it isn't because she isn't tired.

Well - not much more.  Anna continues to do well and I am looking forward to having her meet her siblings and see her daddy again.

For those that are interested -
We arrive at Mid Continent on Saturday morning, just after 10 a.m.  We would love to have you welcome Anna home at the airport.  After the airport, we are looking forward to having our family of six enjoy the rest of the day getting to know each other.  We are planning on being at church on Sunday.  Two Sundays without fellowship is two too many!  But then hope to enjoy the rest of Sunday at home together, too.
Anna proving just what a smart little girl she is!
