While packing today, I did a lot of reflecting about the miracle of adoption. As many of you know, my Dad was an orphan. When I was a kid I remember the many stories he would share about his life and I would just love listening to him. But the one thing that always troubled me was “why didn’t anyone ever adopt him?” The only thing my Dad ever wanted was a “family”. So really the seed was planted in my heart many years ago.
There may be somebody reading Angelina’s story and considering adoption or already is going thru the process and getting frustrated about the wait. Well I’m here to tell you that it’s one of the best decisions you will ever make and for those waiting just remember God has the perfect child for you and it will happen in His timing.
It’s just so amazing to see how each family in our adoption group got the perfect child for their family!!!

As we have started a new chapter in our lives it’s so exciting to get back home and celebrate this joyous occasion!!!
It’s 12:20 am and we have to get up in 4 hours!
After 27 hours of traveling, we will be home on Friday @ 4:45 pm!!!
