It is difficult to believe that we have been home over a month now. Angelina has been through so much since the time of her birth but we marvel at how well she is doing and adjusting to her new family and home. She loves to clap her hands, play peek-a-boo, climb on everything, run outside and play with her brother. Joseph has handled his transition to big brother wonderfully. They both seem like were always together and that their love has always been there. Angelina was certainly the best Christmas present that we could have ever had wished for. We look forward to raising and loving this most amazing child.
Joe and I have given much thought on how to complete our journal. Words could never do justice about our experiences. Our journey that started over two years ago that began with much paper work, to the morning of November 18, 2006 that we departed for China, to our return home on December 2 with our daughter, will be etched in our hearts forever. For many months we prayed to see a picture of our little girl and then we finally got to hold our miracle in our arms. Joe and I would like to thank all of our family and friends for your support and love during this amazing time of our lives.
We dedicate this beautiful story to our little miracle, Angelina Chen Splendido. Daughter, you have been a blessing from the start and we will love you always with all of our heart.
