Home Update
Yes, we are home- finally home with AngeLina in our arms!  This has been a long journey.  In so many ways, we can all say it’s great to be home… however, we do miss China!  What a wonderful journey—with memories that will last a life time!  Adjusting to the time change and getting everyone on schedule has been difficult.  We had heard that it would take days… but I feel like more than a week was wasted!  Now we just have to catch up on all of the laundry and house work!  Even though I love sleeping in my own bed, I do miss the luxuries of living in a hotel like daily maid service and the outrageous breakfast buffets!

Throughout the past few weeks we have been busy unpacking, resting and visiting with a few friends and neighbors.  I stopped by MacDonald Elementary for a brief visit with the staff and hope to bring AngeLina to school to meet all of the students in March.  AngeLina has been to see the doctor and is happy and healthy- but the doctor reminded us that she is not used to the germs and viruses here.  She is eating different foods and tries new things.  French fries are still her favorite!  A few days ago, we took her for her first photo session and couldn’t believe how cooperative and happy she was!  Then we took her to get her ears pierced—she wasn’t too happy and cooperative for that ordeal… but the little gold earrings look so cute!

AngeLina is adjusting so well—just like she has been with us forever!  We are amazed by her charming personality and developmental skills!  I think she will be walking independently before her first birthday!  She is continually on the move and into everything!  It is difficult to get much done around the house!  For those of you who know me- won’t be surprised that the laundry is piling up and I will find any excuse to avoid doing it!  Some things never change—for now, I can “blame” it on AngeLina!  She has begun to sleep in her crib… it is so difficult not to snatch her up with us, but I will be strong!

Bradley is still a great big brother.  He is so helpful, except when it comes to changing DIAPERS!  Max and Jake are a little bit jealous of AngeLina… and try to stay away from her when possible!  But she loves them and looks for them every morning when she wakes up!  There is always so much to do—Richard has been repairing a few plumbing “issues” around the house and of course, AngeLina wants to help!  She should know what a wrench and plumbers putty is by the end of the month!

Life continues to be wonderful- we are so blessed and grateful for your continual prayers and support!  Thank you for following our journey- this has all been amazing!  And now, a new journey begins… our life at home.  We look forward to watching our family grow- together in love!

Come visit… we hope to see you all soon!
Love,
Richard, Sherri, Bradley and AngeLina
