Thanks so much for visiting us during our journey,

Hello everyone,

Today was another fun filled day, Jeanne had a few meetings today so Meilyn and I spent some good quality time together. After breakfast we went to Starbucks for a cup of coffee and a few games of checkers. Later in the morning we went to the pool. The hotel has a pool on its roof. Meilyn and I had the pool to ourselves for most of the day. I need to remember that Hong Kong is on a similar latitude line as Florida. I forgot to put sun screen on and got some unwanted sunburn.

We had dinner with Jeanne's friend Tony and his family. Our party included Tony's parents, his wife Mabel and their daughter Dawn Dawn plus their friends Sammi and Wing. They took us to a Japanese Barbecue restaurant. The dinner was delicious, but I did not realize that garlic was such a major ingredient in Japanese cooking. One of the courses was a beef roll up. The cook brought out a bowl of green onion and then a bowl of garlic. It looked like a mountain. Our course I ate everything that was offered to me, but I think I have had my fill of garlic for the remainder of the trip. I heard that garlic is a natural antibiotic.

On Thursday, we will move to the Regal airport hotel, it is located next to the airport. We will meet the rest of our travel group on Saturday night and Sunday we will go to the Hubei province.

Thanks for all the emails and keep them coming.
