The Frank Family of 4 is ready to make our debut in Bryn Mawr!! We are so ready to come home. We had a relatively easy day. I had to go to the Consulate for some last minute documentation changes. Brian was on Dad Duty for his girls. A trip to Starbucks was on the agenda as there is a playground close by for Meilyn. The park was crowded with folks doing Tai Chi and other morning rituals so they did not stay long. The consulate trip was over by 11:00 am and Meilyn and I were off to the pool after a quick lunch. Because Analei had a power nap around 10:30, she decided that an afternoon nap was not on her agenda for the day. Brian had a group meeting to review our departure plans in the early afternoon. The plan was for Analei to be napping already and Meilyn to catch a quick rest before dinner. So much for the best laid plans. Instead, we dressed for the 3:30 group photo and customary Red Couch photos. (Aunt Yvonne, the matching dresses were perfect for this photo!!) We took a quick walk when both girls promptly passed out in their strollers.
That gave Brian and I about an hour to talk about the events of the last few weeks and reflect on how lucky we are to have had the opportunity to adopt these 2 beautiful girls. We can't wait to get home to our family and friends and introduce everyone to Analei.
Enjoy the photos from today. We will update again tomorrow night from Hong Kong.
