Last Day In Wuhan
Hello again,

Tonight is our last night in Wuhan. We have to our bags outside our room by 7:30am and we are off to Guangzhou and the White Swan. It has been great here.  The hotel staff has been so good to us and the girls.  We are happy to have been able to spend some time close to the area where Analei is from.  But, we are ready for the change. I know as soon as we get settled, I am off to Blendz for a cup of coffee. They have coffee here but it is not very good and not very hot. So for the last week, I have refrained from my morning jolt. Jeanne and I are ready for something different for dinner tomorrow night. We have had a lot of rice & noodles this week. The White Swan make a pretty good hamburger and there is a coffee shop around the corner from the hotel which we are fond of.

Today was a pretty low key day. I watched the girls while Jeanne finished some final paperwork. This afternoon, we went to the government office and received our final adoption certificate from the Hubei Provincial office. As we left the government building, a Chinese lady stopped Jeanne and gave some grief because Analei's legs were not covered. It was pretty ironic because as we looked out the window, a friend of the same lady walked over with a little girl about the same age, and she was bare bottomed. For those that don't know, the Chinese believe that the babies should always be covered up - even when it is 90 degrees.  Most here are also fans of "split pants" for potty training not diapers.  Let your imagination do the work on that one.

Have a great weekend and we will write you from the White Swan!!  Enjoy the photos of the girls and sights from Wuhun as we sign off on this leg of the journey.

Love,
Brian, Jeanne, Meilyn and Analei
