Today was a lazy day. We had to stay in our room from 10 to 11am while Grace was at the consulate with our paperwork in case more information was needed. She call at 11 and said all was well and we were free the rest of the day. We really didn't do too much except veg by the pool. Even with tons of sunscreen, Amy is starting to get that sun kissed look across her nose and cheeks and slight tan lines. I love it!!

We had the barbecue buffet for dinner - wonderful!

My heart is staring to get a bit heavy at the thought of leaving this wonderful country. Even though we are all getting 'hotel happy' as Ken puts it, it still brings a touch of sadness to leave my daughters birth country, not knowing how long before we can come back to visit again. My throat gets tight when I realize what a gift and privilege it is to raise these girls and I thank the Chinese government and people for allowing us to do it. It is an experience and joy I wouldn't have missed for the world!!

I also want to thank Faith International for everything they did to make this happen and a special thanks to Roger at Hand in Hand International Adoptions, who worked so hard to find locate Amy's file.

Instead of pictures of the girls, I am posting a couple of my favorite pictures of Shaman Island.
