Today was a fun day. We visited the Ming tombs and WalMart!! Talk about two entirely different worlds!!
The girls had fun walking down the Emperors path between the Stone Animals and Stone Generals. We got lots of pictures.
We then decided to try our luck at Walmart. The only reason I wanted to go there was to purchase a couple of contemporary Chinese CDs. I bought some last year and have really enjoyed them. Walmart really does have a great selection and lots of Chinese children's music too!
After that it was back to the pool and down time in the hotel room.
We did receive Amy's documents from the adoption today along with her birth certificate. All we need now is her passport which we will get tomorrow.
Amy continues to do well. She is spouting out more and more English words and phrases and today wanted to me say a word in English and she tried to write it down. The big thing for me was when she said 'Mommy' instead of Mama. It was so special!
Thanks again for all your emails. We love to get them and will save each and every one for Amy's memory book.
