Need your journey designed/hosted??
Thanks so much for visiting us during our journey,
Vaughn, Cynthia and Amelia Grace!
Vaughn wanted Janet and I to go to the hotel spa and be pampered. So Janet and I each had facials in the morning. It was wonderfully relaxing. Vaughn watched Amelia while we were busy. He said that he pushed her around in the stroller for the entire 2 hours.  When my facial was complete and I stepped out of the room, there was Vaughn and Amelia waiting in the lobby of the salon. Vaughn looked a bit stressed. But, he and daughter were fine and Ba Ba was very proud he had done it all by himself (even thought he had not "noticed" that Amelia needed a diaper change)!

We put Amelia and Vaughn down for a nap. And Janet and I headed for the shops to wrap up our gift getting. Janet found a great shop that had lots of unique items. I bought a baby quilt with little kimono dresses on it. It is very cute. I also bought a tapestry called 100 children. It shows 100 Chinese boys and girls playing. Both of these items were hand made. 10% of the proceeds go to an orphanage. Janet and I stopped by Starbuck's for hot chocolate and then headed back to the hotel to start packing. Tomorrow we go home!

It is hard to believe that we started on this journey 15 days ago.  We feel like it has dragged on and we would never get home. Yet, now it feels like the time has flown. China is a very beautiful country (even when it is covered in snow and ice). We have meet and talked to so many of the local people and have enjoyed learning about China. We also miss our families and friends and are ready to come home!
