Sorry I did not post a journal yesterday. We were all wiped out after the US Consulate appointment. Well, everything was completed as of August 30, 2006, Alexis is ready to come home!!! YIPPEE!!!! After, we took the oath she was officially adopted. Sometimes, it's still hard for me to believe that she is actually ours. I'm sure it will truly sink in when we reach American soil.
She will become an American citizen once we land in Chicago and has her passport stamped. We were unable to take any pictures during the event, so I don’t have anything new to post.
Alexis is doing well and trying new and different things each day. She gets very frustrated though and has a tendency to give up easily. We will have to work on that.
